Miami University Presidential Fellows Program
The Miami University Presidential Fellows Program is a four-year, renewable scholarship that covers tuition, fees, housing, and food for outstanding students who demonstrate academic excellence, leadership potential, and a commitment to community service.
Eligibility
To be eligible for the Presidential Fellows Program, you must:
Be a first-year student
Have a minimum GPA of 3.50
Submit an application to Miami University by December 1, 2023
Be interviewed by the Presidential Fellows Selection Committee

The Hong Kong PhD Fellowship Scheme (HKPFS) is a fully-funded program that aims to attract the best and brightest students from around the world to pursue their PhD studies in Hong Kong’s universities. The scheme provides a competitive annual stipend and conference and research-related travel allowance per year up to three years.
Who can apply?
Candidates seeking admission as new full-time PhD students in the eight UGC-funded universities in Hong Kong, irrespective of their country of origin, prior work experience, and ethnic background are eligible to apply.
About the award
The HKPFS provides a competitive annual stipend of HK$331,200 (approximately US$42,460) and a conference and research-related travel allowance of HK$13,800 (approximately US$1,760) per year. The award covers the full cost of tuition fees, living expenses, and research expenses.
How to apply
The application process for the HKPFS is divided into two steps:
Initial application: Applicants must first make an initial application to the RGC through the online system at https://cerg1.ugc.edu.hk/hkpfs/InitApplication.jsp. This will give you an HKPFS Reference Number, which you will need to submit your full application to the university of your choice.
Full application: After receiving your HKPFS Reference Number, you must submit a full application to the university of your choice. The application requirements vary from university to university, so please check with the university directly.
The deadline for the initial application is 1 December 2023.

Government of Cuba Scholarship in Medicine for Pakistani Nationals 2023-2024
The Government of Cuba is offering one undergraduate scholarship in medicine for Pakistani nationals in 2023-2024.
Eligibility:
Applicants must have at least 70% or above marks in F.Sc./A level (Pre-Medical) and 60% or above marks in SSC/Matric (O level).
Applicants must be between the ages of 18 and 25 as of the closing date of the application.
Applicants must have a valid USAT-M test score.
Funding:
The scholarship covers the following expenses:
Tuition fees
Hostel accommodation and toiletries
Food (as per rules of Cuban Government)
Contribution to living expenses in the form of a stipend
Other expenses:
Round-trip airfare
Halal food
Medical insurance
Living expenses
Visa fee
The scholarship is funded by the Government of Cuba, so there is no additional financial responsibility on the part of the Higher Education Commission of Pakistan.

After registering and filling your profile, please select “Learning Opportunities Abroad”.
After submitting the application, get its printed copy to be signed by the applicant.
The HEC online application portal will close on August 31, 2023 at 4:00 PM.
Shortlisted applicants will be required to submit the following documents:
Copy of HEC application form submitted through Online application portal (duly signed)
SSC Certificate/DMC/Degree with IBCC attestation OR O-Level Certificate (Science Group) with IBCC equivalence.
F.Sc. Certificate/DMC/Degree with IBCC attestation OR A-Level Certificate (Pre-Medical) with IBCC equivalence
Birth Certificate issued by NADRA.
Father or Guardian’s CNIC copy.
No Criminal record certificate. (Original)
Photocopy of valid passport (validity more than 06 months)
Original Medical Certificate with report of HIV/AIDS issued by Medical Superintendent of District Head Quarter Government Hospital and further attested by Ministry of Foreign Affairs (MoFA).
Important:
Incomplete applications will be rejected.
After successful completion of the undergraduate degree program in Medicine from Cuba, the candidate will be required to appear in the NEB Examination and must fulfill all the laid down requirements of foreign graduates for registration with the Pakistan Medical and Dental Council (PMDC).
It is the sole responsibility of the student to first get the accreditation status confirmation from the PMDC before applying for any professional degree (viz. Medical).

Mitacs Globalink Research Internships (GRIs) are a competitive program that invites top-ranked undergraduate students from around the world to experience Canada as a leading destination for research & innovation. Each year, Mitacs matches over 1,000 students with faculty at Canadian universities for a 12-week research project of mutual interest in the period of May to September.

In addition to the general eligibility requirements for the GRI program, students from Pakistan must also meet the following requirements:
They must be full-time undergraduate students or enrolled in a combined undergraduate-Master’s program.
They must be graduating between December 2024 and December 2025.
They must not be enrolled in a Master’s only program.
Their cumulative grade point average must be at least 80%.
They do not need to take a language proficiency exam.
There are no other additional requirements.
