University of Sindh Mirpurkhas Campus
The University of Sindh in its endeavour to fulfill its charter obligation to disseminate knowledge and to ensure access to Higher Education to all university- potential higher secondary school leavers, has decided to establish its sub- campus at Mirpurkhas, Sindh. The establishment of the Mirpurkhas campus has become essential on the face of ever- increasing numbers of school leavers of institutions in Mirpurkhas and its hinterland districts of Sanghar, Thar & Umerkot, who inspite of their keen interest, cannot pursue higher studies in Jamshoro/ Hyderabad/ Karachi due to socio-economic constraints; out of an estimated 6000 potential leavers barely 1000 trickle down to these big centres.
Therefore, the University in its efforts to out-reach these aspirants and to fulfill its mission has established this campus to provide facilities at their door-steps.
The Campus offer 4-yr. BS degree program in five disciplines as under, with admission on rural/urban district-wise quota basis as at the Main Campus.
