Lowest Paying States for Crane and Tower Operators

As of May 2014, the average Crane and Tower Operators brought home just shy of $50,720 a year, according to the Bureau of Labor Statistics. But earnings vary greatly by location, as employers must offer higher wages in certain areas of the country to attract qualified candidates. On average, the highest wages paid in Crane and Tower Operators were in Hawaii, Washington, Montana, New York & California.

Salary: $30,520 – $81,450
Min. Education: Education and training requirements vary by the occupation.
Job Outlook 2014-24: 3% (Slower than average)
