Firefighters rushed to a pre-dawn blaze, a fire at a vacant house was extinguished and nobody was injured. Overall, the response by Pennsauken crews could be considered a success.

There’s just one thing: Did they have to break two windows on an illegally-parked car to douse the fire?

“This person made the conscious decision to park in front of the fire hydrant. Windows can be replaced; people cannot,” Pennsauken fire Chief Jospeh Palumbo said.

Don’t be arrogant and deliberately park by a fire hydrant and you can avoid this shit! Otherwise you get what you deserve!

They could have gone under the car without breaking the windows but I do agree they were in the right. The car should not have been parked there.

Yep. When they are done it should be ticketed then towed and impounded. They should also pay restitution for part of the damages from the fire.

This driver should not have a license!!! How utterly stupid can you be. I would have opened back doors to let hose go straighter along with breaking glass.
