USMLE has become challenging in past few years. Residency programs are now requiring a higher scores on both step 1 & step 2 exams and passing all steps in first go. Most of the residency programs prefer 90+ scores and U.S. clinical experience along with the letter of recommendation from a practising U.S. Physician.
