Top Highest Paying States for Flight Attendants

As of 2014, the average Flight Attendants brought home just shy of $42,290 a year, according to the Bureau of Labor Statistics. But earnings vary greatly by location, as employers must offer higher wages in certain areas of the country to attract qualified candidates. On average, the highest wages paid in Flight Attendants were in Florida, Georgia, Texas, Wisconsin & South Carolina.

Salary (annual): $28,820 – $72,560
Min. Education: High school diploma or equivalent
Job Outlook 2014-24: 2% (Slower than average)
Related Careers:  EMTs and Paramedics, Customer Service Representatives, Food and Beverage Serving and Related Workers
