Top Highest Paying States for Bartenders

As of May 2014, the average Bartenders brought home just shy of $22,620 a year, according to the Bureau of Labor Statistics. But earnings vary greatly by location, as employers must offer higher wages in certain areas of the country. On average, the highest wages paid in Bartenders were in Hawaii, Virginia, Washington, Vermont & District of Columbia.

Salary: $16,610 – $34,920
Min. Education: No formal educational credential
Job Outlook 2014-24: 10% (Faster than average)
