Top Highest Paying States for Occupational Therapists

As of 2014, the average occupational therapist brought home just shy of $78,810 a year, according to the Bureau of Labor Statistics. But earnings vary greatly by location, as employers must offer higher wages in certain areas of the country to attract qualified candidates. On average, the highest wages paid in occupational therapy were in Nevada, California, New Jersey, Texas and the District of Columbia.
Salary: $52,670 – $112,950
Min. Education: Master’s
Related Careers:  Low Vision Therapists, Orientation and Mobility Specialists, and Vision Rehabilitation Therapists
